In this role you will: 

• Lead the planning and delivery of complex data centre fit-out projects, managing programme, dependencies and resources
• Define the project delivery strategy and provide clear advice to the client
• Manage the project team and coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers
• Manage the building contract, including instructions, change control, contractor submissions and the assessment of programme impacts
• Maintain a regular site presence to verify progress, review quality and resolve delivery issues
• Act as the key link between the client, technical teams and senior leadership, managing expectations and driving decisions
• Report on project status, programme, cost, risks and actions required
• Develop mitigation strategies for significant project risks
• Promote the Linesight safety culture and monitor compliance with project and regulatory requirements
• Improve project management processes and support other teams across the portfolio
• Mentor junior project managers and build team capability
• Capture lessons learned and apply them to future projects.

We would love to hear from you if you: 

• Have substantial experience managing MEP works on complex construction projects, ideally including data centres
• Understand major mechanical and electrical systems, how they interface on site, and the steps needed to commission and hand them over
• Are comfortable spending time on site, checking progress and quality, and working with the team to resolve issues
• Can lead project teams, manage client relationships and communicate clearly with both technical specialists and senior stakeholders. Thrive on building strong relationships with a sense of openness and fun
• Have experience managing programmes, risks, change and commercial matters
• Hold a relevant engineering or construction qualification, or have equivalent practical experience
• Have experience project managing on a data centre project 
• Have a project management professional certification or are seeking one. We can help! 
• Are detail oriented and quality focused 
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
