The Opportunity

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the key account manager, building strong client relationships grounded in partnership, trust, and long-term value.
  • Oversee and drive delivery of key strategic client projects.
  • Develop accurate estimates and cost plans for major client initiatives.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in CostX and databook development.
  • Manage and guide large, diverse teams effectively.
  • Lead the preparation of QTOs for Cost Plans and Bills of Quantities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA/QC Plans and Manuals to ensure project quality.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in MEP packages and a solid understanding of MEPF works.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of procurement processes for global projects.
  • Coordinate and deliver across multiple projects and stakeholders operating in various time zones.
  • Provide active support to Sales and Marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the drafting and refinement of client proposals.
  • Strengthen client relationships to support ongoing business growth.
  • Deliver training and mentorship to leaders and team members.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and support employee development through strong leadership.
  • Lead the team to deliver outstanding quality, service excellence, and client value.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a minimum 15 years of experience in cost management especially pre construction works, ideally from a consultancy background, on large scale construction projects (ideally in pharmaceutical/life sciences project).
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of past work experience on Cost X (or Planswift/Cubicost/Candy/ZW CAD).
  • Have experience and confidence to lead a business, build a team and develop trusted client relationships.
  • Are chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help.
  • Are savvy in understanding the business model and pursuing market opportunities.
  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing, both in English and Chinese.
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines.
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
