Frankfurt has established itself as one of the biggest data centre hubs in Europe, offering excellent connectivity for hyperscale and colocation data centre providers, and is continuing to attract major global investment.

 

As a OFCI / Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity

 

In this role you will: 

  • Be the lead contact for the Data Centre procurement team and act as a strategic partner in all areas of OFCI supply chain management, assessing progress and ensuring on time deliveries
  • Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with DC to make improvements and revisions, as well as project procedures and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that this procedure is always observed
  • Be responsible for overseeing contract arrangements with the supply chain, mandating vendors to submit individual Quality Management Plans and monitor/audit quality assurance throughout the project stages
  • Establish a robust Chain of Custody process with the OFCI Vendors, GC and Client to ensure that the all risks are considered and covered
  • Support an OFCI vendor managed inventory program and administer call-off contracts for new projects or phases
  • Coordinate technical submissions from the supply chain and ensure they are compliant with the DC specifications
  • Partner with the supply chain to identify project risks and proactively manage these risks throughout the project
  • Identify issues proactively and work with the team to resolve effectively
  • Review variations within the supply chain and adjust the contractual agreements as required
  • Coordinate with the Data Centre team, consultant team, equipment vendors and general contractor on all closeout activities, including the schedule and partner engagement
  • Assist in completing the handover plan, ensuring documentation is completed and expectations are met on time and with quality
  • Establish a supplier relationship management system and drive KPIs and quarterly performance reviews

 

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Have experience in a similar procurement and supply chain management role within the Data Centre construction industry ​
  • Have a degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline ​
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing, German language would be desirable
  • Have an understanding of German construction contract law​
  • Are detail orientated and quality focused​
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines ​
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
