The Opportunity

 

In this role you will: 

 

  • Liaise with the head office design team to understand design intent and ensure its implementation on-site.
  • Coordinate with design consultants to resolve design queries and ensure timely delivery of drawings and specifications.
  • Facilitate design-related meetings and workshops with stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary design point of contact on-site.
  • Monitor design implementation during construction and flag any deviations or issues.
  • Maintain a log of design submissions, approvals, and revisions.
  • Ensure timely communication of design changes to all relevant parties.
  • Prepare regular design coordination reports for the project lead and head office.
  • Assist in quality inspections related to design execution.

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Have 8+ years of experience in design coordination, preferably in industrial or warehousing projects.
  • Have strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and design processes.
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
  • Are proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools is a plus.
  • Are able to work independently on-site and manage multiple interfaces.
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun  

 

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
