In this role you will:
Build project schedules encompassing the full project scope, milestones and timelines, using critical path methodology, with specific attention to commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV) phases for process equipment.
Ensure clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes is defined via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology, including equipment FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
Align schedules with the project execution plan, contracting, procurement and project control strategy documents, ensuring CQV deliverables are fully integrated.
Establish a clear method for baselining schedules and managing periodic updates, capturing key qualification milestones such as protocol approvals, execution, and final reports.
Manage the fully integrated project schedule and structure it to allow review at a range of levels and details, ensuring visibility of construction, commissioning, and equipment qualification interdependencies.
Negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies between construction, engineering, CQV, QA, and vendor teams to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Provide regular updates on schedule progress, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies specific to equipment qualification and validation activities.
Review external schedules to ensure they are compiled using scheduling best practices and that CQV activities are appropriately represented and resourced.
We would love to hear from you if you:
5+ years of planning and scheduling experience in pharmaceutical construction projects, including integration of commissioning and equipment qualification (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ).
Hands-on expertise with Primavera P6; able to develop, maintain, and analyze complex project schedules.
Experience with Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and strong ability to communicate findings to key stakeholders.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of GMP/regulatory requirements and how they impact project scheduling.
Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to be based in Tianjin for the duration of the project.
