The Opportunity

In this role you will:

  • Leading PMO governance, approvals, and project tracking to support the large-scale expansion of hyperscale data center construction throughout the AMER region
  • Coordinate design, construction, and commercial functions during the pre-construction/DD process, ensuring governance and alignment through peer/onward reviews and business case approvals 
  • Collaborate with Corporate Development and local business units to define needs, manage the project pipeline, and track deliverables 
  • Schedule and manage project activities and deliverables, including business case creation
  • Organize communication across stakeholders (design, construction, commercial, consulting/contracting partners, asset management, real estate, legal)
  • Coordinate and track GDC investor deliverables for the large scale program
  • Support AMER construction managers with monthly reports and KPIs
  • Assist project execution during high-volume or complex phases
  • Work alongside design, construction, and commercial managers to optimize projects and train teams in efficient approval processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across lessons learned, KPIs, software implementation, and internal team training
  • Report progress, challenges, and key initiatives to senior leadership
  • Operate cross-functionally within a matrixed, global environment

 

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have 7+ years of professional experience in construction project management, program management, or real estate development
  • 'Must have' direct experience in construction and data center projects
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, business, finance, or a related field
  • Have a strong commercial mindset and excellent business acumen
  • Are skilled at managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Take full ownership and accountability, with a strong sense of urgency
  • Are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and/or Primavera
  • Are able and willing to travel within the Americas as needed (remote with some travel)
  • Locations preferences include; Chicago, Dallas, DC/Ashburn, Toronto,NY/NJ; open for discussion for the right highly qualified candidate suitable for this exciting new large scale Data Center program
