Overview

The Bid/Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end bid process guiding a cross-functional team to deliver a well-structured, compliant, and competitive submission that meets the client’s technical and commercial expectations. This role reports to the group Bidding Manager, based in Dublin 

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the full bid lifecycle, from capture planning and win strategy development to PQQ/proposal submission, interview preparation, and debrief sessions. 

  • Ensure all bids meet client requirements and internal governance standards. 

  • Coordinate with legal, commercial, and technical teams to align on content, pricing, and compliance. 

  • Maintain consistency and quality throughout the bid process. 

  • Lead pricing discussions and utilize automated tools to support fee development. 

  • Facilitate lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Act as the central point of communication between internal stakeholders and support teams. 

Requirements: 

  • Relevant degree or equivalent – APMP Qualifications an advantage 

  • Proven experience managing bids or proposals in a complex, deadline-driven environment. 

  • Strong understanding of bid governance, pricing, and compliance processes. 

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills. 

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proposal tools. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and time zones. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential, with the ability to independently design and format high-impact proposals and capability statements 

  • Proficiency with common IT applications – Microsoft suite  

  • Ability to work under pressure and lead a programme to a deadline 

  • Energetic, competitive and a desire to achieve 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills; ability to fully engage internal client and build effective network  

Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
