The Bid/Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end bid process guiding a cross-functional team to deliver a well-structured, compliant, and competitive submission that meets the client’s technical and commercial expectations. This role reports to the group Bidding Manager, based in Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full bid lifecycle, from capture planning and win strategy development to PQQ/proposal submission, interview preparation, and debrief sessions.
Ensure all bids meet client requirements and internal governance standards.
Coordinate with legal, commercial, and technical teams to align on content, pricing, and compliance.
Maintain consistency and quality throughout the bid process.
Lead pricing discussions and utilize automated tools to support fee development.
Facilitate lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as the central point of communication between internal stakeholders and support teams.
Requirements:
Relevant degree or equivalent – APMP Qualifications an advantage
Proven experience managing bids or proposals in a complex, deadline-driven environment.
Strong understanding of bid governance, pricing, and compliance processes.
Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proposal tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and time zones.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential, with the ability to independently design and format high-impact proposals and capability statements
Proficiency with common IT applications – Microsoft suite
Ability to work under pressure and lead a programme to a deadline
Energetic, competitive and a desire to achieve
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills; ability to fully engage internal client and build effective network
Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
