Lead cost management role on various multi-dollar construction projects for large multi-national clients providing cost management services in sectors such as research & development, pharmaceutical, data centers and commercial in both Canada and United States; managing key staff and project team through project milestones to deliver projects on time and within
budget; providing project cost reports, procurement costs and benchmark analysis on multi-million dollar projects; managing design team input in line with client expectations/ requirements
and budget, and ensuring project milestones are reached on time; providing and managing detailed budgets at different stages of planning and design; estimating and takeoff using
specialized Bluebeam and CostX software; managing project consultant purchase orders, change management and contracts amendments via client software; tender interviews/evaluation
and validating changes to contract values and cost uplifts; and reporting directly to clients and providing cost estimates and benchmarking for funding purposes through various funding
stages of construction projects.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Mgmt. (Quantity Surveying) & Construction Economics/foreign equiv + 12 mths exp. in Position/Senior Cost Consultant/Estimator.
Salary: $134,000 per year
