The Opportunity

In this role you will: 

  • Assist the Global Payroll Manager and the wider payroll team in day-to-day payroll administration tasks such as sending payslips, responding to employee queries, sending queries to external payroll providers for answers, researching topics online and providing support to internal colleagues around payroll requests.
  • Provide support to our employee population through timely responses to payroll queries and requests via email and tickets.
  • Assist the payroll team with monthly payroll reporting and updating of employee information e.g. updating tax numbers, addresses, place of birth etc.
  • Collate monthly payroll data inputs (via excel) from our HR system for selected countries around the world for submission to our payroll provider adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Complete a detailed review of the monthly payroll report to check that all data inputs have been processed by the external payroll provider as per the instructions sent.
  • Provide ad-hoc administration support to the wider payroll team including payslip sharing, document completion, updating of monthly payroll headcounts and general administration tasks as needed.
  • Gain experience working in a global payroll department inside the wider global finance team.
  • Receive in-depth training on several payrolls in countries across EMEA, LATAM and APAC.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a level 7 or 8 college degree in a finance/business area.
  • Are a flexible individual who can cope with competing demands and demonstrate ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about payroll.
  • Can approach tasks methodically and logically.
  • Have experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A second language would be advantageous such as German, Spanish or Chinese.
