Overview

The C&S Supervisor will oversee the on-site civil and structural activities on our latest project. This role is integral to ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance are met throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction supervision and a solid understanding of both civil and structural engineering principles.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise civil and structural construction activities to ensure they align with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations and coordinate with other site supervisors, contractors, and trades to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and practices across the site.
  • Work closely with the C&S Lead to resolve on-site challenges and report progress, risks, and incidents as necessary.
  • Prepare daily site reports (i.e., daily diary sheets), document changes or deviations from plans, and communicate issues to the project management team.
  • Liaise with the QA/QC team to ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the project's specifications.
  • Be proficient in BIM 360 and associated software

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in civil and structural construction supervision, preferably on large-scale projects.
  • Proven understanding of construction processes, materials, and site management best practices.
  • Knowledge of HSE standards and experience implementing them in a construction environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
