Overview

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the PMC team delivering a large-scale Data Centre construction project located in southern Belgium. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information, coordinating tasks, and assisting with the administrative and operational needs of the project. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the PMC team; Contractors and Client team - including both internal and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met and project milestones are achieved.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative assistance to the project management team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Project Documentation: Organize, update, and manage project documentation such as client reports; trackers and dashboards. Ensure documents are readily accessible and up-to-date for all stakeholders.
  • Communication: Act as a key point of contact between the project team, contractors, and client, ensuring effective and timely communication of project progress, changes, and challenges.
  • Task Coordination & Deliverables: Assist in the coordination of project tasks and PMC deliverables by tracking deadlines, resource allocation, and key milestones. Help manage the project schedule and communicate changes to relevant teams.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist the PMC project controls team with tracking budgets and expenditures. Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts to ensure compliance with the project budget.
  • Site Coordination: Liaise with the Linesight central support; PMC team and client team to coordinate deliveries, onboarding of personnel to the project and logistics.
  • Issue Tracking: Maintain a log of project issues, risks, and change requests, ensuring that they are addressed and followed up on promptly by the appropriate teams.
  • Compliance & Safety: Support the project team in ensuring that all work complies with regulatory requirements and safety standards. Assist in compiling safety documentation and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience in handling large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, documentation, and industry-specific software (e.g., Google Suite, BIM360, or similar tools).
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience is highly valued.
  • Prior experience in Data Centre project coordination or support is preferred.
